The Fastest Way to Go to Facebook without a Bookmark

Hello there! It’s been a while since I’ve posted something here. But I’ve learned something new but nothing fancy. Just a very simple trick to go to Facebook with just 4 keys on your keyboard. Yes, 4 keys, a short shortcut. Of course bookmarking Facebook would be the fastest way is to add a bookmark. But how about when you’re in an internet café or you’re not on your PC at home? Here’s how:

On the address bar on your favorite browser, just type:

fb

And then press CTRL+Enter/Return. It should go to Facebook completing the whole address. The domain already existed since 1990 registered by Facebook, Inc. So this ain’t new. But just discovered it, LOL.

How To Video Call on Facebook

I am very thrilled when Facebook announced their new feature called “Video Calling” last July 7th. Since Microsoft bought Skype, and Facebook partnered with Microsoft, they grabbed the opportunity by using Skype’s technology to integrate Video Calls inside Facebook. The hassle of changing one service to another is now minimized.

I am grateful to be one of few who was able to test it live with a friend of mine since Facebook disabled the service for the moment maybe because to enhance it further. But you can wait until it would be an official release. (more…)
