We Are Now IPv6 Ready!

We all know that IPv4 is depleting rapidly with the world’s increasing growth of internet users; to keep the network going, IPv6 was introduced. Unfortunately, those two networks types won’t see each other unless you have a gateway or some sort. If you’re in one, you can’t visit the other.

Facebook Major Changes

Facebook has some major changes on their interface. Some users don’t like it, some others do, like me! I like it much better now with the new interface, the news feed and live activity stream, subscribe button, etc. I guess users would just get used to it soon.

Here’s my list of changes I noticed as of today, September 21, 2011:

News Feed

We all are used to the old news feed that floods it and now, it’s more flexible. You can choose specifically who you would want news to feed from, pin some top stories you like and watch it update, and many more. I liked this feature.

DGNU together with ICT Davao and University of Southeastern Philippines will be joining the world in celebrating Software Freedom Day on September 16th. Some students of USeP led by Mr. Val Quimno, Vic Sapar and other Linux Gurus successfully scheduled the event with such short time for preparing.
