Review: Camp Holiday Resort and Recreation Area Samal

It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed something, but this time I’ll be reviewing a beach resort located in Babak, Samal Island, Philippines, Camp Holiday Resort and Recreation Area. Since I’ve been there for a very special occasion with my girlfriend, I think I should share to you guys what and how my experience were with them.
The resort can be reached through barge at Kilometer 11 Sasa Barge with Php 10.00 per ride, Php 20.00 vice-versa. You can bring your car but I strongly suggest you park your car inside Sasa Barge docking area, they have their own guarded parking space exclusively for Camp Holiday Resort and Recreation Area clients. They have a small parking area at Samal but it is outside the resort so I wouldn’t recommend it plus it costs so much for a car to be boarded on the barge, car fee + Php 10 per person on board, no thanks. And besides, after docking on Samal, Camp Holiday is just few steps away.

- Entrance Fee (Inclusive of Open Cottage and Swimming Pool Use)
- Day Tour (Adult) – Php 100.00
- Day Tour (Senior Citizen) – Php 80.00
- Day Tour (Kids) - Php 80.00
- Overnight (Adult) – Php 200.00
- Overnight (Senior Citizen) – Php 164.00
- Overnight (Kids) – Php 100.00
- Maximum of 3 Persons
- Hotel Rooms (Twin Bed/Matrimonial) – Php 1,800.00
- Air-conditioned Cottages (Twin Bed/Matrimonial) – Php 2,000.00
- Whole (450 – 600 persons) – Php 50,000
- Half (225 – 300 persons) – Php 25,000
- Prices will depend on the event.

Near Yet So Far

It’s been a while since I have written a personal blog. I just wanted to let what I feel out by blogging it. So I’ll start by sharing what had happened this day.
My day started out well, read my bible and prayed, and you know, brush, bath, and all that stuff. Was happy seeing my girlfriend too that she decided to go to church too. We were supposed to go jogging today but we didn’t because we have no car to use, (my car’s battery drained again). So we went to church worshiped and listened to the preaching and after that we ate our lunch.

Fashionistas Will Collide on December 8th, 2011

Prestige Models and Talents admin invited me to their show happening on December 8th, 2011 that will showcase their models, talents and designers all over Mindanao. Here’s the invitation sent to me:
The Kata Couture in cooperation with Prestige Models & Production and the designers all over Mindanao who are very passionate to their crafts will hold a big celebration called “Fashion War” supported by the Davao City’s Department of Tourism.
This event will be showcasing their best and globally competitive designs also their new trends not only in Mindanao but all over the Philippines.
The intent of this event is to gather all the designers not only local but global to bring Davao City to another level of entertainment, bringing awareness to all the companies and different organizations also to unite all the people in one Big event.

For those pros and amateur designers who still wants to participate you can get your forms at Kata Couture, door 19 Dona Segunda Complex Ponciano Street Davao City. Submission of form will be until November 15, 2011.
It’ll be held at Almendras Gym, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
