I’ve had five “Cyber Relationships”. Yeah, five. Only two out of those five are like, puppy love or not very serious ones. But I’m not regretting those. It made me grow up and be more mature on what you call “love”. Heh

Me and my girlfriend met on the Internet. Our “Cyber Relationship” became deeper and deeper as time goes by. Of course we started out as friends, for a year. And love just came out of our hearts and bonded us and made us decide to meet personally, and we became lovers. After 4 years and 6 months, we’re still together. Deeper and stronger, and I’m very happy with what we have. The bond we have, trust, and most of all, the love that we have.

All relationships work if both parties are willing to give and take. For the men, you should know your responsibilities as a man in your relation ship, and both should know about your partner’s Love Language. With those, I’m sure your love life will be better. But don’t forget to seek the Lord’s Kingdom first before anything else, and all of it will follow.

It’s the experience I’ve always been afraid of, and is the one that made me stop playing basketball. I certainly don’t want to talk about it here because I might close my blog because of it (Heh, that made me smile a bit). But I am sad. Errr, I want to talk about it more but I can’t, It’ll just make me more sadder.

Nonsense eh? Yeah, I wish I haven’t posted this but I just feel it can make me feel better. *sigh*

Identd or Ident daemon is a program that listens on port 113 that helps identify the users of a particular TCP Connection. In my knowledge, Idents are usually used on *nix systems. If you have experienced using *nix systems, and chatting on IRC, your ident will be your username. Well it depends on the system.

Anyways, let’s get down to the point. I do enable Identd on my mIRC because of one reason, to be able to oper-up on the server which I have o:line at. Although Idents with a “~” prefix on it would be fine but I like my Ident without the prefix, much more professional for me.

Ok now, my home router which is free on PLDT myDSL plans, it’s a ZyXEL P-660-D1 modem that I converted into router mode. Router mode is kinda cooler for me because I don’t get to dial whenever I want to go online, it dials automatically when turned on and I also have set it to have a nail-down connection, so I can stay online 24/7.

Ok here it is. First, go to your browser and browse to 192.168.1.1 (Default IP address for most modems). It will display a login form, and login with a default password which is 1234.

After you have logged in, go to Network>NAT>Port Forwarding and select a Service Name to User Defined

After you’ve chosen the service name to User Defined, the page will refresh with a new set of entries for your service. Now check the Active check box, input in a service name, port 113 on both start and end ports, and the IP address of your PC, I’ve set my router to serve DHCP so the router has given me the 192.168.1.2 IP Address, so that’s what I’m going to use. then press apply.

That’s it, you’re done on the router side. now go to your mIRC client and go to the options panel, then go to Connect>Identd. Check enable Idnetd Server check box, then click OK and that’s it.

At work, I’ve waited like almost 1 and a half month as trainee before I got hired. Well that’s not too long for me but it’s quite a time to go there everyday and only get 100/day as allowance. I consider myself lucky and some of my officemates that got hired that day. But, for those trainees that were not chosen to not go online, man, it’s been 2 months already and they’re not yet been online at least. I mean it’s hard being on the training site for that long, I know how it feels ’cause I’ve been to the training site too, and whew! Don’t ask. Heh.

But it pays to be patient. Just this morning, our team leader called for a meeting after our shift. And I heard a good news for the only trainee who’s patient enough to wait. 2 out of 3 left and never got the chance to go online. But this one waited and probably will go online this week. Congrats to her!

When it comes to work, being patient is very important. You won’t survive long if you don’t have that kind of quality in you. Be patient and do your best, show them what you got and prove to them you’re worthy, and surely blessings will follow. And of course, seek ye first the kingdom of God before anything else. Well that’s it for now.

To those who doesn’t know what fsock(); is, it’s a PHP function that is needed by WordPress to get information on other websites to your blog, like updates and some ads that is needed to be accessed via fsock();. Akismet Plugin for instance, it needs to access the WordPress.com site for your API key to work, and if fsock(); is disabled, those kinds of Plugins won’t work. So without that, WordPress aint fun.

And with the generosity of my friends at ChatX, especially drosdow, they’ve offered me a hosting for my blog, and I dedicate this post for them. Anyway, my blog is now upgraded to the latest version of WordPress which is 2.5.1, and I really love it. The Dashboard is awesome, colors are great. Very nice. And finally, fsock(); function is there. I can now activate plugins that need outside information in order for it to work, and now, they’re working smoothly.
