I haven’t experienced away from home attending college. Getting a boarding house or dormitory just to attend college isn’t necessary for me. I’m just 50 minutes away from my University, why do I need to get a boarding house or dormitory for that?

When I was in high school, I’ve always wanted to attend college away from home. I’ve always wanted to be independent. But I was thankful I didn’t had a chance. Heh, why? Well, because I just realized that, doing your own laundries, cooking your own food, budgeting your own money isn’t that easy. Hehe. Yeah you can go out whenever you want, do whatever you want, but I don’t like hand-washing my clothes, I don’t know how to cook, haven’t managed my own money yet. Heh, I guess I wasn’t ready for it.

But if your place is far away from your University/College, I suggest you should attend college away from home. You can save money from transport fairs if you do that and also learn to be independent. There are many advantages also on attending college away from home, like, living independent and learning all an independent should learn.
