Facebook Keyboard Shortcuts

July 29, 2010 · Posted in How To, Internet, Techies · Comment

I love shortcuts and I use shortcuts on almost all the apps I’m using on my computer, it makes things easier and better to navigate and control whatever you’re doing.

Just recently, I was bored and I wanted to know how some of my friends do their status message designs. Instead, I’ve discovered Facebook has freaking shortcuts too! Hahaha. Well, I wasn’t surprised. This is a web application and just like any other applications around, it has shortcuts.

Apparently, this shortcuts seem to work only on Google Chrome and Flock (browsers I tried it on). Partly works on Internet Explorer and doesn’t work on Firefox.

If it works on any other browser you are using, please leave your comment.

How to Make mIRC Identd Work on a ZyXEL P-660R-D1 Home Router

June 15, 2008 · Posted in How To · 3 Comments

Ok first, what’s Identd?

Identd or Ident daemon is a program that listens on port 113 that helps identify the users of a particular TCP Connection. In my knowledge, Idents are usually used on *nix systems. If you have experienced using *nix systems, and chatting on IRC, your ident will be your username. Well it depends on the system.

Anyways, let’s get down to the point. I do enable Identd on my mIRC because of one reason, to be able to oper-up on the server which I have o:line at. Although Idents with a “~” prefix on it would be fine but I like my Ident without the prefix, much more professional for me.

Zwinky DLLs Found as Adware by avast!

May 26, 2008 · Posted in Computers, How To · 14 Comments

With the latest VPS update with avast! antivirus protection program which I use for my home was on 25-5-2008. My avast! just updated it’s virus database as what I’ve set it. Nothing happened after the update, I just surfed normally, chat normally, doing what I needed to do, and I turned off my computer.

avast! began detecting the DLLs when I turned on my computer this morning. It keeps popping out it’s warning window saying it had detected some Adwares. I noticed, it was from MyWebSearch folder under Program Files. I went in to that folder and watched the DLLs deleted one-by-one.
