How I Write Songs

October 26, 2008 · Posted in Music, Personal · Comment

Guitar

Whew! Well, to some people, this is easy but to others like me, it’s kinda hard. I mean really, I don’t know where to start, what to start, although I finished 1 song, yeah 1 song, heh. It’s called Adik Sa Kape or in English, Coffee Addict. You can play it by clicking the link on the post. The song is about 2 friends talking about love, heartbreaks and all, and instead of beer, they drank and drank coffee ’till morning. Heh, the song is kinda funny though I wrote it seriously. We had no beer around that time, so what we saw is coffee and hot water, we just needed to talk and you know, spit out those things that has to be spit out, you know what I’m saying? Heh.

Anyway, before we go out of track, writing songs isn’t that easy for me. If my best friend wasn’t there to strum the strings a bit, I wouldn’t finish the song. For me, I really need someone to help me finish a song, with the guitar at least. I mean, I know how to play instruments, but I can’t seem to concentrate when I’m playing while I’m writing. It’s kinda hard. Heh. But, if someone is playing while I’m writing, everything seems be smooth, while playing, lyrics come of my mouth just like talking normally, that’s how I finished that song, just started few words for verse, then everything comes smoothly after that, popping out and rhyming and all. It’s kinda cool.

I really hope I can learn how to write songs just by myself. Although I’ve written some lyrics, (I’ve already started so many lyrics but haven’t finished them) but they aren’t songs yet. Still needs rhythms and melodies, you know. Well, I just shared my experience on writing songs, how do you write your songs?

Driclor: Day 3

October 24, 2008 · Posted in Personal · 20 Comments

Well, this entry was supposed to be posted like a week ago, but i was very busy with work and somehow couldn’t find some time to post it. Okay, here it is. This post is about My Sweaty Hands and this post is about my 3rd day of using Driclor as a temporary remedy to stop my palms from sweating and I liked the results. Day 1 and Day 2 had some results and the 3rd day was amazing. My hands are dry, finally has the confidence to grip firmly during hand shakes, you know. A hand shake means so much for me to meet someone, your boss or other coleagues, even friends.

Well, it’s almost 2 weeks now and I’m just using Driclor once a week. It’s really amazing. My hands are dry, but the sad thing is, because my palms aren’t sweating anymore, I noticed that the sweat now exits on my head. I noticed that my head really sweats heavily when it’s hot or the environment is warm. But it’s fine, I carry a towel always in case that happens. Heh.

I think that’s it. My experience on Driclor is great. It does cost high, but hey, after 3 days, you only use it like once a week or when necessary. Just cool. Whew, I’m just not in the mood to post, but I have to update my blog. Just forcing myself so that I can somehow express myself and somehow unwind myself from stress caused by work and stuff. Whew, anyway, that’s it for now. Thanks for reading.

Driclor: Day 2

October 15, 2008 · Posted in Personal · 9 Comments

Well, it’s the 2nd day I’ve been using Driclor and I can see results. As you can read at my previous posts which is My Sweaty Hands and of course the 1st day I’ve been using it, I saw changes on my hand and I liked it.

What I’ve done was I just repeated the procedure which is found at my Day 1 post and it’s great! My hands now is not sweating like it used to. It’s only the 2nd day and it’s awesome. I can now shake hands without having second thoughts and or wiping my hands first before extending my hand, you know what I mean? Heh.

Although there’s some instances that I feel sweat is coming out, but far from it used to sweat. Buy hey, it’s only 2nd day :) The instruction says that you use it every before going to sleep until the sweat disappears. :) So watch out for the upcoming updates of my journey to sweat free hands! Hehe.

Driclor: Day 1

Driclor

What’s Driclor? Well, you can read my previous post yesterday about My Sweaty Hands and you can read all about it there and why I am using it now. Driclor cost around P800-P900 Philippine Peso. I bought it at Mercury Drug here at Davao. I’m sure there are available in every branch.

Okay, here’s the result of the first day I’ve used Driclor on my hands. You might notice, I’ve mentioned day. That’s because I have a graveyard shift starting at 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM so I used it during the day, while I’m asleep.

I was amazed, when I woke up around 4:00 PM, I washed my hands as what it was instructed on the piece of paper included, and I felt like my hands are so clean, like something is covering it. I don’t know, can’t explain it. It felt weird but few hours later, there were still sweat on my hands, but not like before. It minimized the sweating. Hmmm, I’m excited on the 3rd day. :D

Now, what did I do? Okay, here is the procedure (as instructed on the paper) I’ve done, and the proper one.

  1. I removed all the accessories on my hands and fingers. Rings, bracelets, etc. I think it’s a good idea too to remove your nail polish or whatever you call it :D
  2. I washed my hands thoroughly with your favorite antibacterial soap. I am using Dial antibacterial soap. If you don’t know where to buy Dial, you can find it on Watsons store/pharmacy or your favorite pharmacy.
  3. Then after washing my hands thoroughly, I dried it with my towel and placed it in front of an electric fan to dry. The instruction said, your hands should be absolutely dry for Driclor to work perfectly.
  4. After drying my hands for about 30-45 minutes, I then carefully applied Driclor on my palms and in between fingers. I didn’t applied it on my whole hands ’cause only palms are sweating for me, not the whole hand.

My Sweaty Hands

October 13, 2008 · Posted in Personal · 3 Comments

Sweaty Hands

Have you ever felt anxious because of your sweaty hands? Wiping out the sweat before you reach out for a shake hand? People having second thoughts of typing at your keyboard ’cause it’s wet? Well, yeah, I did experience all of that. It is really embarrassing having hands that sweat when I’m uncomfortable. It really makes me so desperate that I wanted to go over to a dermatologist and have it operated or have my sweat glands controlled or something. It would cost but that would make me feel more confident.

But then, I was wondering. Having an operation on my hand to stop sweating would have side effects, something I would not want in the future. I’m afraid my hands would be so dry, it’ll be rough or something like it. Really confusing eh? Hehe.

So I decided finding some alternative ways to control the sweat on my hand. Then I found Driclor. A roll-on that is specially made for the hands and feet, to control sweat. And I’ve also found some good feedbacks about the roll-on and they’re Filipinos too, like me. So, today, I decided to buy one. I’m so desperate about this. I don’t care about side effects anymore, since the feedback says only minors. Watch out for the daily updates on my use of Driclor and what effect did it bring for me. :)
